I have been hand crafting high quality custom leather chaps, tack, cowboy gear, gun leather and silver for nearly 20 years. I am sure you will appreciate the classic western designs and the subtle flare that sets my work apart. As a team roper and former bareback rider, I not only make quality custom leather, I use it. Chaps & Chinks:
The Chinks to the right are made from a hair-on steer hide and feature double border and basket stamp belt and leg pieces. 300 nickle spots decorate the fringe of each leg along with silver buckles and conchos with copper overlay. I custom make chaps for every equine discipline. Each pair of chaps in unique to the owner and built to perform for a specific pupose, whether it be rodeo, reining, cutting, western pleasure, parade or work. With a few easy measurements and choice of leather I can build you a custom pair that will last for years and look great.
Tack:
This breast collar features a hair-on underlay, nickle silver spots and a herring bone basket stamp pattern with multiple double boarder sunburst patterns. All of my tack is made from the best quality Herman Oak leather and backed with an extremely high quality chrome oil tanned had. This combination makes for tack that you can use and will last for years. Every piece can be customized with silver, underlays, spots, rawhide applique and designed to your specifications. Reins, both 2 and 3 point breast collars, tie-downs and headstalls can be built in sets or individually.
Cowboy Gear:
This belt has a saddle tan finish, a blue and silver emroidered underlay on a buckskin background, a split basket stamp pattern, 2 silver plates with copper overlay, nickle spots and is 1 1/2 inches in width. The cowboy gear I craft uses the same high quality material and finish I use in the hosre gear. Opportunities to create a one-of-a-kind piece are practically limitless. Belts, check book covers, spur straps, cuffs and saddle pockets can all be as plain or as fancy as you want and are all built to last and perform. Just a few of the features that can be included are embroidered underlays, rawhide applique, silver conchos and buckles. Everything can be built to match a pair of chaps or tack or can stand on its own.

Gun Leather:
This gun belt and holster was custom made out of 15 oz. Herman Oak leather for a Reuger .44 magnum. It has 18 bullet loops, a large basket stamp pattern, silver concho, solid copper rivets, a mahogony finish. It was designed for hunting horseback without the need for a thong over the hammer. I hand craft shoulder holsters, western holsters, gun belts, rifle scabbards and knife sheaths. I use a 15 oz. veg. tanned Herman Oak skirting leather to ensure years of performance from each piece. Each piece can be customized to suit the users specific needs and the look they want to achieve.
Home Accesories:
This 8x10 photo album has a dark brown finish with a herring bone basket stamp pattern, hair-on underaly, rawhide applique, nickle spots, silver buckles with copper overlay and a rope border. It contains 30 archival quality photo sleeves. I hand craft a variety of accessories for your home. Each piece is made with the best materials to your specifications. These items make great gifts for the people you care about and can be customized in very personnal ways with intials, names, brands, etc. Just a few of the accessories I make are photo albums, scrap books, Christmas stockings and Christmas ornaments.
Silver:
The 3/4 inch buckle to the left has a cast basket stamp pattern with a copper overlay and a rope border. I craft all of my buckles, conshos, plates, bridal loops, keepers and jewelry out of sterling silver. One of the trademakrs of my silver is a unique basket stamp pattern that really compliments the leather. I have developed a detailed process that allows me to cast the silver rather than engrave the pattern for a deeper, richer tecture. Another halmark of my silver is my use of copper in cunjunction with silver as overlays and underlays. The copper a warm feeling to each piece.
